The only way to celebrate an Ashes win

You’ve got to pull out all the stops at a time like this.

So here’s a Venn diagram made by someone else:

Ashes victory Venn - a thing of rare beauty

Never let it be said that we don’t make the effort.

Thanks Ged.

OH NO!

Roelof van der Merwe just heard you haven't yet signed up for the King Cricket email...

...so he's on his way to see you!

  1. Many thanks to you for the kind words and diagrams that mean so much.

Post-modern I think is the phrase you are looking for, Bert. Or possibly post-post-modern.

  2. I notice that your original Venn included itself within its description. There will no doubt be other Venns that don’t do this. II wonder if the Venn that describes all of these latter Venns is a member of itself or not…

OH MY GOD, IT’S ALL OVER. THE WHOLE VENN SYSTEM COLLAPSES ON THIS POINT.

GED, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE, YOU FOOL.

  3. Relax, Bert. I know what I’m doing.

Naturally, I must state “don’t try this at home, children” for health and safety reasons.

And of course I wear all the appropriate protective clothing when I generate ultra-venns:

But I’ve been doing extreme Venning for years with no ill effects, either to myself, society or venns yet unborn.

Sleep easy in your beds tonight, folks.

  4. Is it just me or does this Venn diagram remind others of a view of a rather large lady seen from a , lets say …a compromised position …. the arrow doesn’t help dispel this
    notion.

Maybe it’s a case of the fat lady has done with her singing and is now about to enjoy herself?.
