Push start or not if the selectors back him for the next few months I have no doubt he will be able to come back in some form. In his defence he has been out of the game for a long time and given his age it will take some work to get back to his best.
Shoaib has that ‘killer’ instinct in common with players like Harbhajan and Warney. While this leads to him looking like a tool on a regular basis the game would be much poorer without him.

If he was bowling “uninterested” two-over spells, i’d understand. So please explain KC, i think i am missing something here …
