In my youth we used to call such an effort a ‘tempted ‘tache.
The perpetrator of such wispy facial folicles was usually 18 or 19 years old.
Mr and Mrs Bell are cruel – not only is Ian’s middle name ‘Ronald’, but his brother’s name is ‘Keith Derek’. You would have thought ‘Bell’ would be enough of a burden.
