My wife’s friend got an MBE, for a lifetime of community work done for no other reason than it made things better for people. So I find myself in something of a dilemma. What should I think of the system that recognises the efforts of my wife’s friend while at the same time giving an award to the fat one?
MBE stands for Member of the Order of the British Empire. Giles didn’t get an M. He got a C.
If only I could think of a suitable word beginning with C that would suffice to define Giles Clarke in totality.
Curmudgeon?
No silly, its cat. Cat, yes. Bert recognizes that there was always something feline about Clarke.
i feel that this photo shows why we should trust him
