‘Cricketainment’ – has it come to this?

One thing we know about people: they love to get wound up about stuff.

People love getting irritated, even incensed by things they could so easily avoid. Nowhere is this more true than on the internet.

So if you’re one of those people, steel yourself for a good old fashioned red-faced rant at the following quote from Shailendra Singh, joint managing director of Percept Holdings. They’re no-one to you and he’s nothing to you, but are you going to let that stop you?

    He sounds like he’s been attending the Hayden school of verbal bollocks.

  4. Percept Holdings? What are they holding? Is it all an elaborate setup for a Holding/Willie pun that will be revealed at a later stage? Mysterious. Their website tells us this about Shailendra:

    “An undying spirit, inexhaustible ideas, a fastidious attitude and a great eye for detail are what define the man, Shailendra Singh. His energy is directed towards conceptualizing, planning and strategizing to create innovative content that works.”

    So at least it’s not just cricketing terminology that they’re molesting.

  8. I’ve been to a club or two in my time*, and while I’m sure people were on both pills and the pull, no-one (that I recall) referred to it as “drilling down into a solutions-oriented client-facing persona going forward.”
