Did Lancashire Lightening turn up? I looked everywhere for those dancing girls – they where nowhere to be found! I mean if you are not going to bring your whole Twenty20 squad what do you expect!!!
I’m sure the girls would have neutralised young Dawvwid.
His dad was called Dawid as well. You’d think someone would’ve spotted it in the 31 years between Dawid Senior’s birth and that of his son…

For the first time in ages Middlesex have done something of note! Its hard being a Middlesex fan sometimes, considering we are the only team that isnt really a proper county!
The pink kit is quiet nice though.
The pink kit is FAB! I’m still holding out for a Middlesex v Durham final. Ho hum…..
See this long suffering Essex fan blogging about being a long-suffering Essex fan surrounded by Middlesex fans.
Third blog down at the moment…

Well, the entire German population doesn’t know the difference between a V and a W either. Every single German learning English makes the mistake of saying an English W sound instead of an English V sound, as in saying ‘willage’ and ‘wideo’. I find it utterly baffling as it is neither the German V or W sound, and yet ALL beginners make this mistake.
They all also make the mistake of not playing cricket.
King Cricket – not just a forum for discussion of cricket, but also an opportunity to disparage Germans trying to learn English….
Oddly, I thought Stuart Law played a bit like like Stuart (on the) Lav.
on the contrary young Matt B, Germany would appear to have a cricket team: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Germany_national_cricket_team
Though their players sound suspiciously un-teutonic:
Srinivas Satyanarayana , Asif Khan and James Eggleston are names you’re unlikely to find in Germany’s handball team are they?
The Bearded wonder is the president of the German cricket assosciation, if I remember correctly.
